Last Tuesday, we returned from a much-needed and well-deserved vacation to the enchanting city of Paris. Our trip was a feast for the senses, filled with extraordinary cuisine, captivating museums, and a hauntingly beautiful journey through the Catacombs, where we stood amidst centuries-old bones—a stark reminder of the layers of history beneath the city.
One of the most memorable highlights of our trip was our visit to the Musée d'Orsay. There, we stood in awe before the works of Vincent Van Gogh, his swirling brushstrokes and vibrant colors radiating an intensity that felt almost alive.

Our appreciation for Van Gogh began years ago, sparked by a heartfelt episode of Doctor Who. In this episode, Van Gogh glimpses the profound impact of his art on future generations—a poignant reminder of how one’s contributions can ripple through time.
The experience made us reflect on the power of art to touch lives, much like the vibrant arts scene right here in Philadelphia. We are deeply grateful for the talent and dedication of local artists and theaters. On Friday, we had the privilege of attending the opening night of Koal at Theater Exile. This powerful one-person show explores themes of climate change, wildfires, education, and life in Australia.
Koal runs through March 9th, and we highly recommend seeing it.
This brings us back to the Doctor Who clip. Life is undeniably short, and we often navigate rough and uncertain waters. Have you taken a moment to share with someone how much they mean to you and the gifts they bring into your life? If not, perhaps now is the perfect time to do so. Such gestures not only uplift others but also enrich our own lives.
